Experiencing the End of Life

If I had only got six months to live, I would take time to enjoy the present and live on purpose. There are always a million things to do so I always stay ‘busy’. However, I have to think as though I have only going to live another six months. Upon reflection, I would take these months to truly live for the present-to appreciate life moments, to love and to pursue my dreams even I cannot see the path clearly now. I would spend time doing thing which I would enjoy than what I should do. Going to different places, reading books and saying things that I want to say to others that once I hold back from saying. I would use a month for traveling. I would go to Switzerland to ski, go to Hokkaido to enjoy canoeing and go to Dubai for Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark. Rather than studying and living in the US, I would fly back to home. I would immediately leap into action to remove all stressors, dropping off school. It won’t make any sense to keep staying at school.  When I back to Beijing, I would try to take care of the people close to me that I am leaving behind. I would spend time to sit down and enjoy a long conversation with family or friends. In the end, I think I just want to experience life would matter —seeing the world that’s around me right now, being with great people, doing amazing things, eating great food, playing.

  1. I liked your adventurous take on the "limited" time you would have. It can be hard to live in the present, but we are under the illusion that because we are young, we have all the time in the world. I would also want to comfort my family to the best of my capability because it would be important to me that they continue on living. I wouldn't want their sadness to override their need to move on.

  2. Can I travel with you to Dubai???? I really like you being positive when there are only 6 months left for you. And I would love to enjoy the last 6 months with you because I want to be optimistic as you are, and live in the present with friends and family when we do not sacrifice the quality of our life for the quantity.

  3. Dubai sounds so fun!! I have very similar plans with yours. I also want to go for traveling around the world, exploring places I've never been before. In a sense, we both want our last days to be as meaningful as possible.

  4. I want to go to the waterpark too!! I like your idea about keep yourself "busy" and doing a lot of things. It is really important to achieve some dreams, like traveling around and staying with family and friends. Because people may not always stay with their family and friends when they are health. They won't cherish the time they spend with them.

  5. I like that you decide to do the things that really matter to you. Talking to family and friends and traveling. I think it is important to do the things we want to in life without being too restricted by 'business' that might not serve us or others in the end.

  6. I really like the plan you make. Traveling around the world, having fun with your friends, and taking care of other people living nearby are truly great choices in your plan. Keep experiencing before we leave the world!

  7. Please add me if you plan to say things to others which you held back in the past. I suggest you to live in Emirates Palace and spend a week in Dubai Mall :)
